| Charles Myton, left, and Julia Gaffield, right, both of Toronto, Canada, find a quiet spot in the sun next to Parker & Otis near Brightleaf Square to do some reading on one of the first beautiful, fall-like days the city has had this year. Myton said, "She's studying, I'm reading for pleasure." Gaffield is in her first year as a graduate student at Duke University and Myton came down to visit for the weekend. "It was so nice that we could sit in the sun and not die from the heat," she said. Maybe now that fall is upon us, we can kiss the 90- and 100-degree temperatures goodbye? Autumn begins on Sunday. |
