Union Independent School, with the help the N.C. Central University Public Administration Department, is holding an "Ink to Think" fundraising drive to buy printer cartridges for the school in the Northeast Central Durham area.

To contribute, drop off used cartridges by Aug. 2 to Union Independent School, 311 Dowd St., Durham, NC 27701. Used printer cartridges will be recycled by a local recycler who will reimburse UIS based on the number collected.

Monetary donations are also welcome. Make checks or money orders payable to: Union Independent School with Ink to Think in the memo field. Cash donations may be dropped off at the front office of UIS in an envelope labeled Ink to Think.
