The Durham County Board of Elections will open three sites Thursday for early voting in the Nov. 2 election.
One Stop Early Voting is designed to operate just the same as Election Day and to be a more convenient voting period for citizens.
"The exact same ballot is used during One Stop Early Voting," director Mike Ashe said. "All ballots cast early are counted on election night along with all other ballots."
One Stop Early Voting allows citizens to vote prior to Election Day, on October 14 - October 30, at one of the following voting polls:
Board of Elections office, 706 W. Corporation St.
North Regional Library, 221 Milton Road
South Regional Library, 4507 S. Alston St.
Each early-voting location has different hours of operation. The schedule of operation for early- voting locations can be found at
www.co.durham.nc.us/departments/elec/All voting polls will be open on Election Day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. To view poll locations and voting rules and regulations, go to the website.
