Arboretum Open House

The C.R. Keith Arboretum, one of the largest private collections of temperate woody tree and shrub species, will hold an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. at 2131 Marion’s Ford, Chapel Hill. Panel Discussion on Bullying in Schools

A panel of educators from Jamaica, Hungary, Australia and the United States will explain how they are reducing aggression, teasing and bullying in their schools from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Richard White Lecture Hall at Duke University. The discussion will include strategies for dealing with the coercive power dynamics of the bullying triad: the bully, target and bystanders.
