Today's Best Shot comes from Sandra Brooks-Mathers of Chapel Hill. "I took this photo of a snowy egret at Emerald Isle the last week of August. It seemed unusual to see an egret on the beach, away from that beautiful marshy area spanned by the high bridge at EI."
