SundayPet Photos with SantaNorthgate Mall will hold a “Paws and Claus” event where pets can take photos with Santa from 1 to 6 p.m. at Center Court/customer service center area. Cost will be $11 for a 5x7 photo or $13 for four wallet size photos. Proceeds will benefit Triangle Pets Alive.
Pre-Chanukah EventChabad of Durham/Chapel Hill will hold a pre-Chanukah event from 1 to 3 p.m. at UNC Hillel, 210 W. Cameron Ave., Chapel Hill. The Mentalist, Marc Salem, will perform. There will be light refreshments, latkes, donuts and chocolate. Suggested donations are $5 per person; $18 maximum per family. RSVP is suggested.

Christmas MarketOutsiders Art & Collectibles will hold the fourth annual Christmas Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Guglhupf Bakery, Cafe & Patisserie, 2706 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. Guglhupf will also hold its fourth annual Weihnachtsmarkt. There will be holiday shopping, food, mulled cider, artists and live music. Lakewood Avenue Children’s School will hold a book drive for Book Harvest, Happymess Studio will hold a craft table for children and Cassandra from Character Paints will be face painting.
