Kiwanis meet

Tobaccoland Kiwanis Club member Terry Govoreau introduced the two speakers from Triangle Transit at the meeting of the Tobaccoland Kiwanis Club of Durham April 8. Environmental planner Meghan Makoid narrated a video of the proposed seventeen mile light rail project that is scheduled to be operational in Durham during 2025/2026. Events coordinator Eileen Apicella-Phillips discussed proposed service changes for August 2014. A highlight of the proposed changes is the addition of Saturday evening and Sunday services to Routes 100,400,700 and 800.
