Meaning to catch some of the graduation and Father's Day markets, Lambert's Jewelry is cutting prices on all its in-stock watches by 25 percent through June 17.

The shop, at 4515 N. Roxboro Rd., carries Bulova, Accutron, Wittnauer, Seiko and Pulsar brands; special-order watches don't get the discount.

Lambert's is also knocking 30 percent off pearl jewelry in June, 20 percent off starter necklaces and individual pearls.

Barriskill Dance Theatre School is holding an open house from 1 to 4 this afternoon, offering free classes and demonstrations in Brazilian martial arts, salsa, yoga, ballet fundamentals, dance workout and several more variations on motion.

Northgate Mall gets yet another new tenant: TigerDirect, a Miami electronics chain that not only sells computers, TVs, cell phones, cameras and GPS devices, but caters to the do-it-yourself set with replacement components and advice.

TigerDirect is taking over a 21,000-square foot space near Sears, formerly home to Old Navy. No opening date has been set.

MOM would approve

The annual MOMart show is coming Friday (preview party -- $20) and May 5 (just selling; free admission) at Broad Street Cafe, 1116 Broad St. Painting, pottery, play quilts, jewelry, photos, plants, etc., by about 60 artists/craftpeople, plus multi-ethnic food and folkdancing by Danza Azteca.

An Irish Bull

Joe & Jo's has pulled a Finnegans Wake: risen from the corpse's bed, that is, as Bull McCabe's Irish Pub.

The Five Points eatery and watering hole reopened Tuesday. It had been closed since November, when former owner JoAnne Worthington sold out and moved to Central America.

New owner Malachy Noone has remodeled the place, including stocking a small library, and serves a mix of British Isles and basic American fare.
