The Nasher Museum of Art's Kimerly Rorschach and Juline Chevalier will lead an interactive discussion and show slides from the exhibition "Taste of the Modern: Rothko, Rauschenberg, Oldenburg, Kline" from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at the Southwest branch library, 3605 Shannon Road.

Taste of the Modern is part of a special loan from the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. In the exhibit, six important works by four major American artists of the 1950s and '60s showcase America's creative energies in Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art. The exhibit will be on view at Nasher until September 14, 2008.

This event is free and open to the public.
