The Durham Police Department's Project Safe Neighborhoods coordinator has added a new monthly newsletter to the Police Department's Web site at
www.durhampolice.com/psn.The newsletter written by coordinator Jennifer Snyder describes gun laws, Project Safe Neighborhoods activities and initiatives, and ways to prevent gun violence.
The Web site also has monthly information about gun crime arrests, police calls involving firearms and firearm seizures. This information can be found at

Project Safe Neighborhoods is a federal comprehensive, strategic approach to combating gun crime by linking together local, state and federal law enforcement officials, prosecutors and citizens.
