Faith Alliance Church, 1309 Umstead Road, has issued an invitation to area children to attend Bible school July 14-18 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

This year it's called Power Lab. It will offer fun and memorable Bible-learning activities for kids from age four through fifth grade, said Wendy Cavalieri.

"Each day kids will sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, nibble Test Tube Treats and take on a daily challenge to share Jesus' amazing power in their lives," she said.

The children will join nearly a million children in North America and take part in a hands-on mission project that will reach kids in South Africa, said the Rev. Tim Williamson.

Call the church office at (919) 477-3333 for more information.
