In a story last week about Hill Forest, statements about use of the forest were incorrectly attributed to Dr. Steven Smutko. The statements were from users of the forest and were compiled by Smutko in a report he submitted to the College of Natural Resources at N.C. State. Smutko does not live near Hill Forest nor does he ride horses there, as was incorrectly reported.
